Ensure your home and family are safe in the event of a fire. Practice these safety tips with all members of your family. In case of emergencies, dial 911 and the Gosnell Fire Department will dispatch to your location immediately.

  1. Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, inside bedrooms and outside sleeping areas.
  2. Test smoke alarms every month. If they’re not working, immediately change the batteries.
  3. Talk with all family members about a fire escape plan, and practice your fire escape plan twice a year.
  4. Most importantly, if a fire occurs, GET OUT, STAY OUT, and CALL FOR HELP. Never go back inside for anything or anyone.
